Chef Grant van Gameren has been delighting Toronto's palates for years with his mastery of the kitchen. His name first gained notoriety during his days at The Black Hoof, where he helped pioneer the nose-to-tail trend in Toronto and brought the city's charcuterie to world-class heights. After  a stints at Enoteca Sociale – where he let his culinary creativity soar – van Gameren sought out inspiration across Europe, eating his way through the authentic cuisines of Spain, France, and Italy. This newfound joy of food made its way back to Toronto when Grant opened the already-famous Bar Isabel, which recently took the pole position in enRoute Magazine's annual Top 10 list of Canada's Best New Restaurants 2013.
